Please check out the information about Harmony's Gifted and Talented Program on our home page. If you would like to nominate your son or daughter you must turn in the required paperwork by Friday, October 15.

Picnic Change!

Annual Parent Picnic's location, date and time have changed:
HSNA family picnic will be Sunday, October 17th. From 1:00 PM. Till 4:00 PM.
We will have lots of food and fun!

The family picnic will be at Friendship Park in Grand Prairie. Just 3 miles West of School. Food & Fun will be provided.

Home Visits
The teachers at Harmony are coming for you! Ha ha...no not really! But we are going to be starting home visits. This is a wonderful opportunity for me to get to know your family better and learn more about your child. It would be a quick visit...25-30 minutes max. In the near future, I will be sending home a sign-up sheet. If this is something that your are interested in, return the sheet back to me. If not, no hard feelings!

Mrs. Miller's Monarchs
Each class at Harmony picked a "Classroom Theme". We voted and Mrs. Miller's Monarchs won! This week we watched a really cool video on the migration of the Monarchs and also did a butterfly art project. These Monarch butterflies will decorate our bulletin board outside of our classroom. Here are some cool links if your child would like to learn more. The first one is a blog that gives updates on the Monarch migration as they head to Mexico. We will be following this one in class too!

Harmony Family Picnic
On October 16th, we will have our First Annual Family Picnic!! It will start at 10:00am and end at 1:00pm. I will be there with my kids and hope to see you all there as well!! Here is a link to the flyer.
